With an interest in Historic preservation and owner of one of the original homes in downtown Cody, his 1902 Victorian home is a familiar point of interest. The love of his ranch on Trapper Creek in Shell, Wyoming, circa 1890, gives him familiarity to the Shell/Greybull area, as does his miner's cabin in Red Lodge, Montana. Ron's expertise covers Northwest Wyoming and Southern Montana.

As a member of Cody Economic Development Council from 1994-1998 he has a special insight into the growth and needs of the community. Ron leases space to 43+ businesses, as well as renting to several residential tenants.
